Got this as a gift for my husband, and we both love it. It just WORKS REALLY WELL. You can really get things burning with this tool. It's so much better than a plain poker, but you can use it to move big logs easily (in other words, get this, instead of a plain poker). Well-made and sturdy. Gave one as a housewarming gift to a fire-loving friend and he just loves it, too.

Went camping to Big Sur, CA where there was a bit of a "gear off." Who's got the coolest new gear, be it a stove, chair, or marshmellow skewer. Without claiming outright victory, let's just say the Firehawk scored major points. People were at first skeptical, saying, 'What is this crazy thing? It's not a very good bugle." Then they experienced the Firehawk in action and changed their hearts & minds as the Firehawk roared a dying fire to life and warmed the huddled souls in the dark wilderness night.
The Firehawk is for people who love to tend fires, poke at it, move logs around, and create pseudo forge/ovens to burn random stuff in. If you're the kind of person that loves to maximize the burning the wood and loves simple multi-functional tools, this is for you. Unlike other mechanical bellows that are noisy, the Firehawk is quiet, keeps you at a comfortable distance, works as poker and is outright ingenious in design. I'll never go car camping without it.

I just bought this tool over the weekend and used it yesterday for making a campfire. This tool is so amazing. I had a kick a## fire in no time and didn't have to get really close to blow on the fire. The blow tube is so easy to use and really flares up a fire big time. This is the best tool i have ever bought in my life. The store where i bought this can't keep them in stock because they sell so well. I got lucky to get one.

Great product. We heat primarily with wood and this is a great tool. Keeps the ash mess down.

The first time I saw this a buddy of mine used it while we were camping. The inside is hollow, with an opening between the fork prongs at the bottom and a mouthpiece on the top of the handle, so you can stick the fork in the embers of a fire under fresh logs, and blow concentrated bursts of air onto your fire through the length of the poker effectively and safely (provided you don't inhale without removing it first, of course!). Since it is hollow, it is very lightweight as well, weighing in at only 1.5 lbs. This item is a must-have for any camper!
