Phew, this thing reeks. Yes, it is functional and cushy but I had to leave it to "air out" on the balcony for a week (and the rain washed it). I buy this rug pad, and they throw in the toxic fumes for free. There's nothing "natural" about it. Otherwise, it's definitely one of the least expensive pads I've found anywhere.

The premium-lock rug pad arrived quickly. We have hard wood floors and I wanted to make sure the area rugs would not slip. The pads were easy to cut to the exact size needed to hide under the rug and held the rug perfectly.

This was a great rug mat solution for our living room. The only thing that was a bit tricky was getting it propery matched up/laid down underneath our 5x8 carpet. Since it was doing its job, it would sit down and plant itself without budging...and then the carpet wouldn't properly align at first. we ended up trimming the rug mat down a bit and it worked fine :) I'd definitely purchase this again for other rugs we may get.

I've bought rug pads for use on my hard wood floor, but never such a sturdy one that adds so much to the cushioned feeling of the rug over it. I am very happy with the rug pad.
