Cheap look and feel but it does the job well September 19, 2008 I am using this with my PS3, mostly to enter password or whatever other short text strings may be called for while surfing the Web on the PS3.
One important not: this is a Wi-Fi keyboard, it is NOT blue-tooth. Meaning that it WILL require a little dongle-transmitter plugged into your USB port. If your PS3 is one of them 2-USB ports models then you must be aware of this.
The keyboard is battery-powered and the batteries seem to last. I don't believe I've changed them since I first started using the keyboard, a few months ago but I am not a heavy user. It's good to know that it comes with a little touch pad and 'mouse' buttons so if you are comfortable with it, you won't need a mouse.
Overall judgment: it's much better than it looks. For the price and for moderate use with a PS3, I have no complaints whatsoever, it's the right implement. I would NOT use it with a computer, especially if I was into writing big novels.
Great Keyboard for a Great price August 29, 2008 I have had this for about a month now and I love it. I don't have a PS3, I just have a TV set up in my living room with a DVI-HDMI input from my PC. Before, I would have to get up, go to my PC, and drag the right window over, or use my wireless mouse - if I had to type anything, I would have to get up and walk over. Now, this is perfect for the couch setup to watch video off my PC. Some people say that the trackpad is small, but I haven't really noticed that during my use. The keys are responsive and the board is light. I was trying to find the perfect trackpad+board combo with an appropriate price (the diNovo Edge was WAY too pricey and i don't feel it does much more than this one for I'm using it for).
Awesome "on the couch" keyboard for HTPC, PS3, Wii, XBOX, or whatever. August 18, 2008 Ordered this for my home theater pc, to replace a horrible Microsoft one that only worked if you were mashing the "wireless" receiver against the keyboard itself (yes, i tried new batteries).
Also this one has a laptop-style touchpad which is way better for sofa use than a mouse which i had to lean over my coffee table to use.
It's wonderful. Plenty of range even for the biggest room, and that's even with the receiver stuck behind my giant mess of cables behind the TV.
It's just a regular USB keyboard as far as your computer/PS3/whatever is concerned. No drivers or anything needed. No Windows key, so use Ctrl+Esc to bring up your Start menu.
Truly the best home theater keyboard you can buy for an affordable price. You won't regret this purchase.
can not beat this August 18, 2008 if your looking for a nice keyboard for you htcp this is it 40ft away
not even a glich, and no mouse laying around and for 40$ no way to top it.
Cheaply made but works August 17, 2008 The keyboard works great, with my HTPC and my PS3.
Just plug it in and it works.
Its very light and very cheap feeling. I'm very happy with it because I got it for $40 new from a vendor. The $80 the stores and others charge IMO are not worth it from a quality standpoint, but there are no other keyboards like it on the market.
