Pretty pitcher, but no lid. May 7, 2007 I ordered two different pitchers in the same style, but one is the two-toned etched while this one is clear. I assumed they both had lids, but apparently I was wrong. It is still quite pretty and I plan on keeping it, but thought you might want to know about the lid (or lack of it)if that is important to you. Unfortunately, the pitcher arrived badly scratched from poor packing...in fact, all items in the same box were ruined. Not wrapped individually and just tossed in the box. Acrylic will scratch in a heartbeat, it didn't stand a chance. But, Customer service was very good about sending replacements for damaged items and handled my complaints graciously. I strongly suggest you insist that the items be wrapped well & individually if you order from this seller...or you risk the same problem. I think they should fire the packer. I have ordered from Bealls before,have not had this problem, and have been very happy with their products. If you take the extra time to insist on proper packing, I'm sure you will be pleased by their products. I dropped one star for the lid & packing...otherwise it would be a five.
